A ceremony to provide cash aid to children below two years old was held at the office of Ward-1 Administrator in the town of Rikhawdar, Chin State yesterday.
Officials from Department of Social Welfare under ministry of Social welfare, Relief and Resettlement and Food Security Fund jointly provided cash aid to children below two years old in the town.
Under this cash aid program, 89 children below two years old in the town received K 30000 each amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic in the township. Afterwards, a mother from ward-1 spoke words of thanks to officials.—Lal Pek Lawm, IPRd
