Cash aid, hand speakers provided to Grass roots, towns, wards, villages in Myawaddy Twsp.

An event to present cash aid provided by the government to the grass roots and hand speakers to towns, wards and villages amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic was held at the meeting room of General Administration Department in Myawaddy, Kayin State yesterday.

At the event, the regional Hluttaw Representative U Thant Zin Aung delivered an opening speech and the township Administrator U Phyo Zaw Ko Ko clarified the purpose of cash aid and urged respective village Administrators to hand over cash aid to grass roots in wards and villages in the township. Under this cash aid program, 54268 households in the township will receive K 20000 each.

Afterwards, officials also presented hand speakers to towns, wards and villages in the township amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.—Man Than Shwe Myint, IPRD
