Box culvert built in remote town to help locals use in all seasons

Construction of a box culvert built with the local government’s fund was completed in Htanparkyway Town, Naga Self-Administered Zone in Sagaing Region.
    

The facility measuring 24 ft. in length, 6 ft. in width and 3 ft. in height was built at a cost of K 8 million and construction task began on August 5 and finished on 13 August, according to the town development affairs committee.
    

The one box culvert was damaged by floodwaters in 2014 and the new one was replaced for convenience of locals, said an official from the town development affairs committee.
