A ceremony to donate a variety of publications to libraries in Namhkam Township was held in conjunction with literary talks at the Community Centre of Namhkam Township Information and Public Relations Department yesterday.
An official from the IPRD clarified the purpose of book donations and literary talks. In addition, chairman of township writers association U Mann Nyunt Kyi and writer Daw Zet Nan Maing gave talks, followed by a Q and A session.
Afterwards, the chairman of the township writers association provided books and publications to the libraries and looked round documentary photos, books and publications displayed at the center.
Present on the occasion were members of the township writers association, teachers, students from the Book Club Association.
