Bago Region Chief Minister U Win Thein, Regional Minister for Natural Resources, Environment and Municipal Affairs Dr. Saw Nyo Win and officials inspected the construction sites of Kyoneku Bridge and a bypass in Bago on December 26.
First, officials from Road Management Department and Bridge Management Department clarified the salient points of the construction at the briefing hall. Then, the Regional Chief Minister and officials observed the construction sites.
The bridge is being built with K 156.843 million allocated by funds of Bago Region Government in 2019-2020 FY and K 1620 million allocated by funds of the regional government in 2020-2021 FY. The bridge which is 210 ft in length and 24 ft in width is being constructed by Bridge Special Team-9.
