Two Thai nationals and two Myanmars with heroin and ammunition were detained in Lwaysitone village, Wamlone village-tract, Tachilek Township, Shan State yesterday.
Police members from Anti-Drug Squad-30 and eye witnesses searched a Misubishi driven by Miss Kuntima Chootan of Thailand, 23, her accomplices, Lawsar, 25 and Mee Nyo of Parkhar village in Tachilek Township, 24 and Mr.Phurin Phonbun of Thailand, 25 and seized five grams of WY branded stimulant tablets, six bullets, SMITH & WESSON branded a revolver, eight hand phones such as Samsung,Vivo, ZTE, OPPO and i Phone.
The local police station has filed charges against the four under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.-Myint Mo (Tacihilek)
