The 73rd Independence Day was held at Zabuthiri Township General Administration Department in Dekkhina District, Nay Pyi Taw on January 4.
First a ceremony to hoist the national flag was held at 4:20 am and the attendees gave salute to the national flag and martyrs. At 7 am, Township Administrator U Pyae Phyo Nyein read the message sent by President U Win Myint to mark 73rd anniversary of Independence Day.
Next, pamphlets to mark 73rd anniversay of Independence Day were distributed to the attendees by the officials from the Township Information and Public Relations Department. The ceremony of the 73rd Independence Day was held in line with the COVID-19 restrictions, according to Township IPRD.
