Mongpyin 7 February
A ceremony to commemorate 73rd anniversary of Shan State Day was held at a meeting hall of Township General Administration Department in Mongpyin, Kengtung District, Shan State (East) this morning.
First, the attendees paid respect to the national flag and a secretary of Township Management Committee and an official from the Township Department of Immigration and Population read the message sent by President U Win Myint for the 73rd anniversary of Shan State Day.
Next, MP U Sai Tun Sein of Pyithu Hluttaw also read the message sent by Shan State Chief Minister Dr. Lin Htut for the Shan State Day.
Present on the occasion were MP of Township Pyithu Hluttaw, Township departmental personnel, members of Maternal and Child Welfare Association and Women Affairs Committee, Ward Administrators and local residents.
