A total of 58 more COVID-19 patients being placed under observation at a facility quarantine center in Kayah State were discharged from the quarantine center on 6 January after tested negative for the virus in the second round of testing.
As of January 6, out of 5888 COVID-19 positive patients, 5631 have been discharged from the hospitals while 244 patients were reportedly died in Kayah State.
There are currently 12 confirmed COVID-19 positive in hospital with COVID-19 in Kayah State and receiving medical treatment in relevant hospitals including four patients in Loikaw people’s hospital and eight in Hpasaung Towship, according to the Township committee on Covid-19 prevention, control and treatment.—District IPRD
