A total of 55 more confirmed COVID-19 positive patients were discharged from hospitals in Kayah State on 22 December after tested negative for the virus in the second round of testing.
As of December 23, out of 5875 COVID-19 positive patients, 5608 patients have been discharged from hospitals while 244 were reportedly died in Kayah State.
There are currently 22 confirmed COVID-19 positive in hospital with COVID-19 in Kayah State and receiving medical treatment in relevant hospitals including 12 patients in Loikaw people’s hospital, two in Bawlakhe, eight in Shyadaw, according to the Township committee on Covid-19 prevention, control and treatment.—District IPRD
