A total of 45 Myanmar nationals: 20 males and 25 females, who returned from China were transported back to their native places via Lashio in northern Shan State by train yesterday.
Yesterday’s returnees include two from Kachin State, one from Kayin State, 11 from Sagaing Region, two from Bago Region, 24 from Magway Region, three from Mandalay Region and two from Yangon Region respectively. A total of 15,292 Myanmar citizens: 9,380 males and 5,912 females have returned to Myanmar from China through border crossings from 6 May to date.
