With the joint cooperation between the Township Education Department and the Township Information and Public Relations Department, the 2nd children’s literature festival was conducted by literary lovers at the Basic Education High School in Nattalin this morning.
The children’s literature festival was opened by MP U Khin Aye of Pyithu Hluttaw, township administrator U Zay Wunna Hlaing and officials.
The festival was aimed at inculcating reading habits among youth generation, possessing all-round development for students, increasing creative thinking and cultivating cooperative skill and gaining better social communication.
The festival includes book fair and science and health booths in addition, competitions such as poetry reading and caricature, puzzles, English reading skill, Myanmar reading skill, impromptu talks and others. The festival continues until 5 January from 8 am to 5 pm.
