29468 people receive booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine in Maungdaw Twsp.

A total of 311 people including two public service personnel and 309 local people who had received two coronavirus vaccine injections were given their booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine at the designated vaccination sites in Maungdaw Township, Rakhine State yesterday morning.

 

Under the supervision of chairman of the District Administration Council, healthcare workers from the District Department of Public Health monitored the body temperatures and blood pressures of local people before giving the vaccine and watched them for 30 minutes after administering the vaccine to them.

 

As of July 26, a total of 29468 local people who had received their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine were given their booster dose of COVID-19 Vaccine in Maungdaw Township. 

 

Healthcare workers continue to vaccinate the remaining people in the township in line with COVID-19 health regulations set by Ministry of Health.—Aung Kyaw Sein, Thet Lwin Soe(IPRD)
