Saw Township Electricity Supply Enterprise is undertaking to distribute 24-hour electricity to villages in Saw Township, Gangaw District, Magway Region. Now, 18 villages in the township have access to electricity.
Under NEP Phase-1, rural electrification projects were implemented in four out of 18 villages. In 2018-2019 FY, efforts were made to distribute electricity to three villages in the township. In addition, 11 villages in the township were distributed electricity in 2019-2020 FY. Accordingly, a total of 18 villages in the township have access to electricity and four remaining villages will be distributed electricity in October, an electrical engineer U Myo Zaw Win.
