16-bedded station hospital inaugurated in Nyaung-U Tonwhsip

A ceremony to inaugurate the new 16-bedded station hospital in Singu village-tract, Nyaung-U District, Mandalay Region was held this morning.

The new hospital was formally opened by MP U Saw of Pyithu Hluttaw and MPs U Win Myint Khaing and U Myint Sein of regional Hluttaw who planted the commemorative trees at the campus of the hospital.

At the ceremony, MP U Saw of Pyithu Hluttaw gave an opening remark and District medical superintendent clarified the purpose of the construction. Next, U Han Tun, member of Singu Station Hospital Committee expressed words of thanks on behalf of local people.

The hospital was developed by Aung Kaung Kyaw Company and the main building and six related buildings are of RC kind. The location for the construction of hospital was donated by the developed company owner U Kyaw Wai and Daw Shwe Thazi families.

Present on the occasion were MPs of Hluttaw, District commissioner, District medical superintendent, departmental personnel and local people.
