Sintgaing, 17 June
Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected the construction works of rural road in Ywarthit Village in Sintgaing Township of Mandalay Region this morning.
During the inspection tour, officials met with members of village development committee and urged them to meet the set standard within the target date.
The rural road measuring 4.54 furlongs in length, 12 ft. in width and nine inches in volume is being constructed by a tender winning company with K. 39.10 million of the Union Budget in 2024-2025 FY. The construction works of the road have been implemented since June 10 this year, and all the work of clearing the core of the road has already been completed.
Once completed, it will benefit 1033 local people from 236 households in the village, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.—Ye Win Naing(Nyaung-U)
