Officials sell essential foodstuffs at lower prices for the convenience of the residents in the front of office of Ward-14 in the town of Pyapon, Ayeyarwady Region, to be able to buy the food they want at a fair price.
Under the guidance of the Township Administration Committee, personnel from the Township General Administration Department, the Township Development Committee, the Township Department of Consumer Affairs and departmental officials jointly sold foodstuffs such as edible oil, eggs, pork and vegetables at lower prices than the market prices in Ward-14 in the Town of Pyapon this morning.
Deputy Administrator U Ye Lin Oo, staff officer of the District Department of Consumer Affairs U Min Zaw, Dr. Kyaw Myint from the Township Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department and staff officer of the Township Development Committee Daw Thet Thet Kyu and staff jointly participated in the event.
In order to decline commodity prices, foodstuffs are being sold at lower prices in wards in the town of Myaungmya every Monday. —Aung Win Naing(Pyapon)
