Pantanaw, 24 March
A total of 500000 fingerlings were released into Bawdi Creek to further restore the biodiversity of the creek in Mingayuh village tract in Pantanaw Township, Ayeyarwady Region at about 9:00 am on 24 March.
Staff officer of the District Fisheries Department U San Win, Deputy Administrator of Pantanaw Township U Kyaw Sit Linn, staff officer of the Township Fisheries Department Daw Mar Mar Swe and staff, staff from Department of Livestock and Aqua-cultural Research, departmental officials and village administrator attended the event and jointly released a total of 500000 fingerlings into the creek.—Pyae Phyo Kyaw(IPRD)
