Shwethaungyan 20 August
A local social organization named “Myat Parami” representing Magyizin Village-tract in Shwethaungyan Town, Ayeyawady Region donated humanitarian aid to flood victims in Pharthein Village, Kyaikmaraw Township in Mon State.
The donation was made on 19 August. The philanthropists contributed clothing, rice, instant noodles and drinking water worth Ks. 2.1 million to disaster victims. 12-member team from the social organization led by Chairman Ko Lay Khaing handed over relief items donated by some well-wishers in Shwethaungyan Town to flood victims on door-to-door basis.—Ko Ko Maung (IPRD)
