A tuberculosis diagnosis mobile team from the Sagaing Regiaon Department of Anti-tuberculosis made a field trip to conduct tuberculosis checks on local people in Khin-U Township, Shwebo District, Sagaing Region starting from 19 to 23 August.
The TB mobile team included responsible person Dr. Myo Min Soe from Anti-tuberculosis Department, Township Medical Officer Dr. San Yu Ko, doctors from station hospital and medical staff went to five wards and 146 villages.
A total of 158263 people were provided with medical check-up and 773 TB suspects were also given medical treatment. Sputum of 200 TB suspected patients were also checked and a total of 27 TB suspected senior people and 16 children were also given medical treatment, according to the records of Township General Hospital.
