IBEC Sayadaw (Stockholm World Peace Prize winner) Bhaddanta Sobhita was honored by Sagaing Region Government with an international honorary award, during a ceremony held at IBEC International Buddhist Education Centre, Thawtapan Ward, Sagaing Town, Sagaing Hill, on 4 January.

Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Ohn Win inspected the storage of raw jade in the jade storage area in Dekkhinathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning. There, the Union Minister inspected the storage of raw jade and the arrangement of jade lots to be auctioned in the 56th Myanmar Gems Emporium, which will be held from 11 to 20 March 2019.
