Strong winds hit some villages in Letpadan Township, Tharrawaddy District, Bago Region yesterday afternoon and damaged many houses in the township.
Powerful winds flipped over the roofs of 368 houses and destroyed 44 houses in 18 village tracts in the township.
All powerful winds victims are currently taking shelter at the homes of their relatives in the villages and are provided with relief supplies by local authorities. But no casualties were reported.—Myint Maung, IPRD
