Special postage stamps to be issued

The Myanma Posts under the Ministry of Transports and Communications will produce K 200 of special postage stamps with inconic ‘Jasmine” flower and a religious examination festival to commemorate the month of Nayone, one of the Myanma twelve months.

The new postage stamps will have the image of both Jasmine flower and a religious examination festival. The commemorative stamps can be purchased starting from 3rd June, 2019 (1st Waxing of Nayone, 1381 ME) at the post offices throughout the country.

As a special program, the date of issue is to be printed on the postage stamps for stamp collecting enthusiasts on the first day cover at the Central Post Offices in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon or Mandalay on 3rd June.
