A ceremony to open a school library at Basic Education Post Primary School in Sidoktaya Township, Minbu District, Magway Region was held at the library yesterday.
First, the library was formally opened by the Deputy Township Administrator, an official from the Township Information and Public Relations Department and head of the school.
At the ceremony, Deputy Township Administrator gave opening remarks and an official from the IPRD shared knowledge the benefits of reading and bookkeeping practices.
Then the head of the school expressed words of thanks and officials from IPRD donated a total of 52 books and local residents donated a total of 400 books. Khin Than Hlaing (IPRD)
