A school family day was commemorated in conjunction with the prize-distribution ceremony for 2018-2019 academic year at the No. 2 Basic Education High School in Mrauk-U, Rakhine State yesterday.
At the ceremony, U Maung Thein Shwe, district education officer gave opening remarks and U Maung Htay Aung, head of the school clarified the purpose of the organizing the festival.
Afterwards, exceptional students for 2018-2019 academic year were awarded by officials, followed by students’ entertainment.
The district education officer, township education officer, head of the school, members of the school board of the trustees, parents, teachers and students were in attendance.
