A ceremony to hand over a school building in Kywetaesu village Basic Education Primary School (Branch) to Education Department was held at the school in Waw Township, Bago Region this morning.
MP Daw Yee Yee Htike of Regional Hluttaw, Township Education Officer Daw Khin Win, well-wisher Daw May Myat Mon Win and Daw Kyu Kyu Maw cut the ceremonial ribbon and sprinkled the scented water on the stone inscription. Then, they also planted a tree to mark the new school building.
At the ceremony, MP of regional Hluttaw gave opening remarks and well-wisher Daw May Myat Mon Win, General Manager from Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon clarified the purpose of the donation.
Next, proper documents relating to new school facility were handed over to Township Education Officer. The school building which is 60 ft in length and 30 ft in width was constructed with K 26 million. Daw Kyu Kyu Maw, manager from the Chatrium Hotel also donated K 1.2 million, the cost of the construction of a water tanker.
