Chief Minister of Bago Region U Win Thein inspected construction of a government office and a site chosen for development of a bridge in Bago City on 11 June evening.
First, the chief minister visited construction of a six-storey government office where he was briefed about the progress of the task by Director of the Urban and Housing Development Department U Sai Thet Naing. The facility is of a reinforced concrete structure and is under construction at a cost of Ks. 615.60 million and the project as a whole is 85 percent completed.
Once completed, the new facility will become a house for government departments. Afterwards, the chief minister looked into a site for construction of a 210 ft. long, 24 ft. wide RC bridge.
