A ceremony to wrap up a refresher training course for auxiliary firefighters was held at the camp of auxiliary fire fighter in Letwe Village in Nyaung-U Township, Mandalay Region yesterday.
At the event, an official from the township General Administration Department delivered an opening speech and clarified the purposes of the training course. Then, Letwe Village Administrator U Nyunt Win spoke words of thanks to auxiliary firefighters.
This was followed by the presentation of awards to outstanding trainees and completion certificates to all trainees by officials.
With the aim of ensuring fire safety and carrying out natural disaster protection, search and rescue operations, a refresher training course for auxiliary firefighters was organized by the Township Fire Services Department. The one-month training course for auxiliary firefighters was attended by 50 auxiliary firefighters in the village.—Ye Win Naing (Nyaung-U)
