Refresher training course for auxiliary firefighters opens in Launglon

Launglon, 3 February

A ceremony to open a refresher training course for auxiliary firefighters was held in Thabya Village in Launglon Township, Taninthayi Region yesterday.

At the event, the township Administrator U Kan Htoo delivered an opening speech and clarified the purposes of the training course. This was followed by the presentation of uniforms to auxiliary firefighters by officials.

With the aim of ensuring fire safety and carrying out natural disaster protection, search and rescue operations, a refresher training course for auxiliary firefighters was organized by the Township Fire Services Department. The training course is being attended by auxiliary firefighters from villages in the township.
