Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker and committee chairpersons held a coordination meeting 1/2019 at Zabuthiri Hall meeting room in Hluttaw Building, Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.
First Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U T Khun Myat remarked that the day’s meeting was held for joint groups to assess and review the budget. During the more than three years term of the Second Pyithu Hluttaw more than 90 laws were enacted and in conducting the Hluttaw’s main responsibility of legislation, not only the bill committee but all relevant committees were to participate and cooperate said the Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker.
Meeting attending committee chairpersons and secretaries then discussed committee wise works and provided assessment, suggestions and explanations.
Committee wise works to be conducted were coordinated as required by Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U T Khun Myat who then delivered a closing speech before the meeting came to a close. The meeting was attended by Pyithu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Tun Tun Hein, Pyithu Hluttaw committee chairpersons and secretaries and officials from Pyithu Hluttaw Office. — MNA (Translated by Zaw Min)
