Public talk titled “Youth and Drug Abuse” conducted in Mahlaing

A public talk titled “Youth and Drug Abuse” was conducted at the Basic Education High School in Panaine village, Mahlaing Township, Mandalay Region yesterday.

 

Official from the Information and Public Relations Department explained the purpose of the talk. Afterwards, 21 students out of the attendees dealt with drug abuse, scourge of drug, efforts in the fight against drugs, offence and penalty on their point of views.

 

MP U Hla Tun Aung of Pyithu Hluttaw, deputy township administrator U Aung Kyaw Lwin, Commander of township police force Police Major Zaw Naing, township law officer Daw Yu Mon Kyaw, head of township medical deparment Dr. Nay Min Myo Tun and assistant director of township education department U Myo Thnat responded the queries raised by students.

 

A total of 250 people from governmental departments, teachers and students were in attendance.
