In order to hail 72nd Martyrs’ Day, a painting contest was held at the community center of the township Information and Public Relations Department in Dimawso Township, Kaya state this morning.
First, U Nga Re from the township education office explained about rules and regulation of the essay competition. Then, a total of 33 students at middle and high school level competed in an essay competition titled “unforgettable Martyrs ‘day”.
Also present on the occasion were officials from IPRD, the Township GAD, The Township Education Office, teachers, students and parents of the students.
Awards ceremony will be held on Martyrs’ Day which falls on July 19, it is learnt.—Taw Re (Dimawso)
