Ownerless dried elephant skins seized in Yekyi Township

Approximately 52 viss of ownerless dried elephant skins were confiscated in Yekyi Township, Ayeyawady Region on 30 June, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

A joint squad comprising policemen from Konpyin police outpost and local authorities seized 52 viss of the dried elephant skins from two stationary motorbikes in an inter-village road in Yekyi Township, Ayeyawady Region at about 5:30 p.m. on 30 June. An investigation into the case is ongoing by the local police.—MOHA
