A fire broke out at a private electricity distribution industry in Ayenyein Ward, Kawthoung yesterday.
The fire started from the overheated electric generator while distributing electricity to the households in the ward by the private electricity distribution industry owned by “Pho Thi Cho” Company.
Two fire engines, two water tankers, six private water tankers, firefighters and people extinguished the fire and managed to control the flames from spreading to other houses.
The Township Fire Services Department is launching an investigation into the incident.
