An event to present cash assistance provided by the government amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic to grass roots was held at the meeting room of General Administration Department in Mattaya Township of Mandalay Region this morning.
At the event, the regional Hluttaw Representative U Min Min delivered an opening speech. Then, the township deputy Administrator U Zaw Win Kyaing clarified the purpose of the cash aid for local people who have low income amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.
Afterwards, officials handed over K 1043.78 million to respective village-tract Administrators. Under this cash aid program, 52189 households from wards and villages in the township will receive K 20000 each.—Soe Kyaw Thu Htway, IPRD
