A ceremony to inaugurate a new concrete road and a bridge was held in Ywagyi village-tract in Thandaunggyi Township, Kayin State this morning.
MP U Saw Hla Myint of State Hluttaw, Township Administrator U Zaw Moe Aung, Village Administrator U Saw Man Dae and a responsible person formally opened the road and bridge that connects Tha-htae-gone village with Lat-pan-gwin village.
The concrete road with 450 ft. in length, 10 ft. in width and 6 inches in height was constructed with K 4 million allocated by Township Department of Rural Development. The bridge with 110 ft. in length and 10 ft. in width was constructed with K 4.5 million allocated by Hluttaw’s fund and K 1.5 million contributed by Karen Women Empowerment Group (KWEG). The projects were started on 6 March 2019.
