Staff from the Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee donated blood at the blood bank of Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital (1,000-bed) this morning, in commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day.

A total of 46 blood donors from the Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee participated in the donation. U Myint Soe, member of the Nay Pyi Taw Council, U Maung Maung, Deputy Mayor and other officials, visited the event to observe the donation process. They offered words of encouragement to the blood donors and presented them with nutritious food.

Following the donation, the Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital (1,000-bed) presented certificates of honor to the blood donors.— MNA
