Myanmar U-22 men’s football squad begin preparatory camp

Prior to two warm-up matches against Oman and Qatar, Myanmar U-22 men’s football squad have been camped in Yangon since 29 December, according to the Myanmar Football Federation.

 

The Myanmar team is slated to play two warm-up matches against Omani U-23 men’s football squad in Muscat on 7 January and Qatari U-23 men’s lineup in Doha on 10 January 2019. U Ko Ko Thein takes charge of Myanmar U-22 men’s side as team manager and U Kyi Lwin as Head Coach. The squad consists of 7 coaching staff and 20 players totaling 27 members.

 

The matches will be part of preparations for Myanmar U-22 men’s football team ahead of the 30th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) to be hosted in the Philippines from 30 November to 10 December 2019.—By Kyaw Htike Soe
