UNION Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn heard the report made by the Permanent Secretary U Win Kyaw Aung regarding the locations to place the container houses, prefabricated office installation and accommodation of staff at the temporary shelters yesterday.
Plans are underway to place ten 20-foot prefabricated offices beside the entrance road to the ministry, seven 20- foot container houses and ten 20 by 10-foot container houses in a land plot beside the car park.
The Union minister and party also observed the locations for container hoses, installation of prefabricated houses and the current condition of staff accommodation arranged in the 21-room temporary building on the lawn in front of the office, and also met with the staff and families.
Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn instructed officials to consider the upcoming rainy season to ensure the accurate measurements of the ground conditions before placing prefabricated offices and container houses, and also to ensure access to water, electricity and sanitation and cleanliness around the temporary Basha. — MNA/KTZH
