UNION Minister for Infor­mation U Maung Maung Ohn heard the report made by the Permanent Secretary U Win Kyaw Aung regarding the lo­cations to place the container houses, prefabricated office installation and accommoda­tion of staff at the temporary shelters yesterday.

 

Plans are underway to place ten 20-foot prefabricat­ed offices beside the entrance road to the ministry, seven 20- foot container houses and ten 20 by 10-foot container houses in a land plot beside the car park.

 

The Union minister and party also observed the lo­cations for container hoses, installation of prefabricated houses and the current con­dition of staff accommodation arranged in the 21-room tem­porary building on the lawn in front of the office, and also met with the staff and families.

 

Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn instructed officials to consider the upcoming rainy season to ensure the accurate measurements of the ground conditions before placing pre­fabricated offices and contain­er houses, and also to ensure access to water, electricity and sanitation and cleanliness around the temporary Basha. — MNA/KTZH
