Lankhio, 15 September
The final match of the deputy commissioners cup inter-township football contest was held at the township sports ground in Lankhio, Southern Shan State on 14 September.
In the final game, the team representing Maukmai Township beat the squad representing Lankhio Township 4-2 and was crowned the champion. Deputy Commissioner U Noe Wai and concerned officials presented champion trophy and cash to award winning teams and players.—Myo Nyunt Shwe (Mongnai)
