Mongyu, 8 October
A man was arrested for dealing in stimulant tablets in Namnaw( Lower) village in Takyant village-tract in the town of Mongyu, Tachilek district, Shan state (East) yesterday morning.
Acting on a tip-off, local police officers together with witnesses searched a house belongs to U Maw Khaw, 52. The search yielded up a total of 189 narcotic tablets worth K 189000 from him.
Local police officers have brought drug charges against U Maw Khaw at Mongyu area police station.
