With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, Department of Rural Development under Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation disbursed loans for emerald green project and village development plan to farmers in Mong Yang Township, Keng Tung District, Shan State(East) on 27 January.
At the event, the state Hluttaw Representative U Aik Kham Hlaing, the township Administrator U Nyi Nyi Win, staff officer of the township DRD U Sai Laung Hmaing and officials dispensed K 60.0 million to members of village emerald green project committee in Wamle and Wamphyat villages in Mong Yang Township.
Then, officials also disbursed K 140.0 million to members of VDP committee in Wamtaung, Wammang, Lawkngo, Wamtung, Wamtat, Yangpung, Hona, Wamtong, Wambang, Wamdan, Wamkung, Wamphyat, Naungbo and Wamsali villages in Mong Yang Township.—A Chya, IPRD
