In commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day, a new multi-purpose hall with an attached library, measuring 40 feet long, 20 feet wide and 12 feet high, was opened yesterday at 10:00 a.m. in Sanye Oo (Smart Village) in Lawksawk Township, Shan State.
During the event, U Min Soe Naing, the Chairman of the Township Administration Body, along with his staff and departmental officials, cut the ribbon to officially open the village’s new multi-purpose hall.
On this occasion, U Min Soe Naing, the Chairman of the Township Administration Body, and U Shay Re, a staff officer of the Township Rural Development Department, delivered speeches before handing over the hall to the San Ye Oo Village Development Committee (VDP). A villager also expressed gratitude for the new facility.
The library and multi-purpose hall were constructed at a cost of 17.5 million kyats, which includes 15 million kyats allocated by the Township Department of Rural Development and 2.5 million kyats contributed by well-wishers.
The ceremony was attended by U Min Soe Naing, the Chairman of the Township Administration Body, along with township-level departmental heads, staff, and local residents.— Township IPRD
