Iran shows drones recovered from foes

Iran has displayed foreign-made drones which it says were used by its enemies. Tension between the United States and Iran has risen following attacks on Saudi oil facilities.

Iran's state-run media reported that the country's elite Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps put the drones on display on Saturday in Tehran. Local media report that the exhibits include US-made drones that the revolutionary guards recovered but how they did that was not made clear. Speaking at the opening, the commander of the corps, Major General Hossein Salami, said Iran will fight until the full destruction of any aggressor against the country.

Iran appears eager to show its defense capability as US President Donald Trump points to its alleged involvement in the attacks on Saudi oil facilities and maintains pressure on the country.—NHK
