Tachilek 9 February
A total of 46 Myanmar migrant workers were handed over to Myanmar authorities by their Thai counterparts, yesterday evening.
The hand-over of the migrant workers took place in the compound of Mahamyatmuni Monastery in Makarhokan Ward, Tachilek, Shan State (East) in which Thai officials led by Police Capt Katichai Sansil handed over the illegal migrant workers to the Myanmar authorities led by vice-deputy commissioner of Tachilek District GAD U Zaw Lin Tun.
Altogether 46 migrant workers—27 men and 19 women were transported back home with the arrangement of the District GAD Office.—Myint Mo (Tachilek)
