Heroin weighing 132 grams worth K 13 million was seized in Indaw Township, Kathar District, Sagaing Region yesterday.
Acting on a tip-off, members of local police station led by Police Major Khin Maung Thin searched a motorbike driven by Yan Naing (a) Myo Naing and seized 132 g of heroin.
The authorities have filed charges against Yan Naing of Aungekone village under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. –Lu Aung (Kathar)
