Hantharwady United head coach U Myo Min Tun has been adjudged the best coach in the Myanmar National League and the team’s striker Donald Bissa has been named the best striker for the month of January.
The awards for the best coach and best striker were presented yesterday by U Soe Aung Thein, manager of the MPT.
Under the guidance of U Myo Min Tun, Bago-based Hantharwady United secured a no-loss result in the previous month.
Hantharwady United beat Rakhine United by 1-0, defending champions Shan United 2-0, Chin United 3-0, and trounced Southern Myanmar by 5-0. It is still leading the scoring table of the Myanmar National League.
Hantharwady United striker Donald Bissa helped the team improve their playing style and displayed good understanding with teammates. He scored three goals for the team.—Lynn Thit(Tgi)
