A stake driving ceremony for construction of a one-storey building was held in a basic education high school (branch) in Tonzang Village, Tedim Township in Chin State yesterday.
At the ceremony, Chin State Minister for Social Affairs U Pau Lun Min Thang, Chin State Lawmaker U Thang Daik Khut, Chin State Education Officer Daw Hnin Kyi, Township Education Officer U Gint Thang Pau and the headmaster drove the stakes at designated places of the construction site. Next, the Chin State minister clarified matters relating to the school facility and inspected a site chosen for construction of the school structure.
The steel structure will be 12o ft. in length and 30 ft. in width and will be built by a private construction company at a cost of Ks. 140 million funded by the government.—Tedim IPRD
