Five more schools being built in Chauk Twsp

Five new schools are being built by the Department of Education in Chauk Township, Magway Region with the funds of the fiscal year 2019-2020.
    

A reinforced concrete structure measuring 140 ft. in length, 30 ft. in width is under construction in the compound of a high school in Gwaycho Village and the facility is about 57 percent completed. Two high school facilities are also being built in BEHS-3 and Kyaungshartaw Village and the projects are finished by 38 percent and 65 percent respectively. In addition, two primary schools are under construction in Yaylar Village and downtown Chauk and construction tasks are completed by 70 percent and 49 percent respectively.


All construction tasks are carried out by two private companies at a cost of Ks. 467.9 million and the projects are slated for completion by the end of August, according to the township education office.
