Kyauktada, 26 August
In an attempt to hail International Democracy Day which falls on September 15, essay writing, poem reciting and painting competitions took place at a library of the township Information and Public Relations Department in Kyauktada Township, Yangon west district this morning.
The competitions were jointly conducted by the township IPRD and the township Education Officer’s Office with the participation of 16 middle school and high school level schoolchildren. Awards ceremony will be held in September.—Township IPRD
